Have Some Fun with Your Food

OK, it’s obviously not a burger and fries, but who wouldn’t smile at this great presentation?

The US government recommends several servings of fruit a day, and what they mean by that is whole fruit (OK, or sliced — but not processed). Fruits contain sugars, and whole fruits also contain dietary fiber. Fiber helps keep the gut healthy — and it slows digestion, helping to keep you feeling fuller for longer.

This is why whole fruits are always a better choice than juices — juices strip out the fiber that is a big part of the whole point of eating fruit in the first place!
