If you played sports in school or had regular physical training in the military, you got a good start building a fitness base, but sometimes after leaving those settings it’s hard to stick with it. As valuable as coached and other structured activities are, once you’re out, it’s hard to form a good plan for maintaining your fitness on your own — especially you had been doing drills you really disliked. Plus, the activities in coached or structured physical training programs may be highly specific, and not form the best mix of healthful, low-injury-risk activities for the long term. And there may well be exercise you’d enjoy more!

What if the rest of the world routinely incorporated physical activity? What would you most look forward to? What would you dread?
